Dabur Sanjivani Vati: Sanjivani Vati is a tablet, used in Ayurvedic treatment of dyspepsia, indigestion, gastro-enteritis etc.This medicine should be taken strictly under medical supervision.Sanjeevani Vati is explained in Anceint Ayurvedic text in 1300 AD in “Sharangdhar Samhita” (M.Kh.-7)-Sannipaat Chikitsa.

To know mechanism of action of Sanjeevani Vati,the concept of “Aama” or endotoxins must be understood.”Aama”is the byprodut of faulty metabolism of fats,carbohydraats and proteins.It is accumulation of endotoxins within the body.The reason according to Ayurveda is low digestive fire.The fire that does not let any metabolite to accumulate is not able to consume them completely.that’s why they remain in the system.

Uses: It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of snake bite, dyspepsia, lack of digestion power and chronic fever.

• Ajirna (Dyspepsia or indigestion)
• Gulma (Chronic obstructive jaundice / chlorosis)
• Visuci (Gastro enteritis / cholera )
• Sarpadamsa (Snake bite)

How long to use? It can be used for a period of 1-2 months,based on doctors advice.

Side Effects Sanjeevani Vati?
Over dosage may cause burning sensation in stomach and poisonous effects.

Dosage: 1 tablet once or twice a day is traditionally the dose to treat digestive problems. 2 tablet once or twice a day is traditionally the dose to treat gastro enteritis
